Important Update: SayIntentions.AI Pricing (Existing Members Grandfathered In)

Dear Captain,

Good news first — if you already have an active subscription, your price stays the same for as long as your subscription remains active. We're keeping our promise to take care of our loyal customers.

Starting November 1, new subscriptions will be $22.95/month (up from $19.95), and annual plans will move to $229.95/year. Anyone who signs up or reactivates before November 1 will also be locked in at today’s lower rate.

When we first launched at $19.95/month, SayIntentions.AI was focused almost entirely on very basic ATC functionality. Since then, we’ve grown into a full global ecosystem — IFR/VFR traffic injection, cabin and crew voices, co-pilots, SkyOps, VATSIM/IVAO handoffs, CPDLC integration, PIREPs, NOTAMs, TFRs, checklists, pushback, and more. It’s a different product entirely — vastly more powerful and immersive, and many more features coming soon (most of which will revolve around our core ATC offering).

We know price changes are never ideal, and we don’t take this lightly. We simply haven't seen the anticipated price-drops from the AI compute and AI voice industries that so many anticipated. To the contrary, our costs have increased sharply, especially with the massive growth in the use of traffic injection. This modest adjustment ensures we can keep investing in performance, reliability, and innovation without compromise.

Across the gaming and simulation world, everyone is facing similar headwinds — Xbox Game Pass, for example, recently increased prices by 50% following a 17% rise last year (with no grandfathering!!). We’d rather make one modest, transparent change now than several abrupt ones later.

FAQ: Pricing Update

Q: Does this affect my current subscription?
A: No. As long as your subscription remains active, your current price is locked in for the foreseeable future.

Q: What if I cancel and rejoin later?
A: If you reactivate before November 1st, you’ll still be grandfathered at the old rate. If you renew an expired subscription after that, new pricing applies.

Q: I’m on an annual plan — what happens when I renew?
A: You’ll keep your existing annual rate as long as you continue to be an active subscriber.

Q: Why raise prices now?
A: AI voice and compute costs haven’t decreased as expected, and usage has exploded. This update keeps us healthy and allows continued investment in innovation.

Q: Why don’t you switch to a different pricing model?
A: We like our simple, unlimited-access model. It lets you enjoy the full SayIntentions.AI experience without being “nickel-and-dimed” by usage-based billing.

Q: Why can’t I run this on my own PC?
A: While small AI models can run locally, there are three major issues: (1) They severely impact GPU/FPS performance. (2) They’re slower and far less capable than our cloud models. (3) Large Language Models are only one of many AI systems we use together.

There’s a reason our system feels “magical” — it takes significant compute to make that happen. Your PC should focus on flight simulation; we handle the rest in the cloud — like having access to a massive super-compute cluster every time you fly.
